About Me

I’m Alastair King (BAppSc, BSc Hons, MSc), a geologist and remote-first exploration consultant based in Maui, Hawaii. For over eight years I’ve led greenfields programs across North America, Australia, New Zealand, Guyana and beyond—turning legacy datasets into high-confidence targets, designing/working field campaigns, and managing AC, RC and diamond drill programs.

What I Do

I work at the intersection of cutting-edge tech and classic fieldcraft. I apply modern AI and data science—machine-learning for structural interpretation, automated geochemical anomaly detection, and cloud-based 3D modeling—to accelerate decisions in the traditionally analogue world of exploration. The goal is simple: de-risk faster, drill smarter, and stretch every exploration dollar.

How I Work

Hawaii is my strategic hub. From Maui, I bridge time zones, regulatory frameworks (NI 43-101, SEC S-K 1300, JORC; BLM, provincial/state permits), and cultures between teams in Australia, Canada, and the U.S. I’m fluent in ASX workflows, but I partner with all exploration companies—TSX/TSXV, AIM, private prospect generators, and mid-tiers—tailoring deliverables to your governance and disclosure standards. I currently operate hybrid-remote with rapid mobilization; beginning early 2026, I’ll add dedicated on-site support to keep programs moving through every season.
